It’s not without reason that we call ourselves the Mistura Family. Both the teachers and the students devote a lot of attention to building a genuine connection with yourself, with each other, and with the music. That connection makes dancing the most wonderful creative outlet I can imagine.

And it also says a lot that I gladly drive 40 km back and forth every week to be part of this.

What makes this dance school unique for me is the way a safe dance environment is created. There is room for personal attention, growth at your own pace, and above all, lots of fun. Not only the teachers but also the fellow students contribute to the growth of your self-confidence, which becomes visible not only during the dance classes but also in other aspects of my daily life. Mistura Movement has helped me crawl out of my cocoon and blossom into a butterfly on the dance floor!

At the end of October, I started dancing at Mistura Movement. I’m so happy I made that choice! It truly is a TOP dance school! The variety of classes is amazing — I’m now joining almost all of them. All the teachers are very friendly, explain things clearly, and have an incredible amount of expertise. They give you a warm welcome, which made me feel at home right away. The vibe in all the groups is super fun, and after class I head home with a big smile on my face.

From day one I was welcomed with open arms at Mistura, and it immediately felt like coming home. Dancing here means ultimate freedom for me. Being welcomed and accepted just as you are, with the openness to be your true self. At Mistura, for the first time, I don’t compare myself to others, because we simply all share the same passion — a love for dance!

Dancing at Mistura Movement feels like sharing beautiful moments with beloved family members. The atmosphere is super cool. Upon arrival, you’re warmly welcomed and supported by the teachers. The whole community at the dance school and in the classes embraces you, regardless of your dance experience. The bet to surprise my Angolan cousins with my Kizomba grooves was a success!
